Counting On God's Faithfulness

"Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations." - Deuteronomy 7:9

I can sing (Psalm 89:1) ...with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generation, everyday of my life, because I have seen his faithfulness in my little life.

Whatever God has promised you according to his purpose for your life, he will do it. Don't give up. We have enough evidences in scriptures to show that God cannot lie; he has always been faithful to his word. Ps.89:34, Heb.6:12, Isa.55:10-11, Num.23:19, Isa.51:1-2.

I Am With You Always

Text: Matt. 28:18-20, Isa. 43:1-4

As long as we still wear this flesh we are bound to experience certain situations in the journey of our lives that will seem as if God is too far from us. It is at this point that many children of God not being mindful of His promises take up all manner of negative attitudes. Some complain at this point, some murmur, worst of all some blame God for their predicaments. Hear this, God is not responsible for your problems,
He is there to deliver you from them.

Sincere And Selfless Love

Text: Romans 12:9-10, 17, 21

There are three forms of love described in the Christian Greek scriptures - EROS, PHILIA AND AGAPE.

  1. EROS - Is the passion for the opposite sex that constitutes the emotional incentive to conjugal union. It is lust.
  2. PHILIA - Is a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection as for a friend, for a parent or child, brother, sister or a relation. Usually the person is well known and your association or relationship demands the love as a duty.
