Hearing God’s voice

The Holy Spirit is a spokesman for God. God speaks to us through the Holy Sprit.
John 16:13 - Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

There are different ways God can speak to us: Through prophecies, dreams, visions, pictures, an audible voice, and an inner voice or through His word.
Acts 2:17-18 – And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

Prophecy: - 2 Peter 1:20-21- Knowing this first; that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man but holy men of God, spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

Dreams: - Matthew 1:20-21, Genesis 20:3, Genesis 37:6

Visions: - Acts 9:1-10, Acts 10:3, Genesis 15, Ezekiel 8:4

Audible voice: - Paul experienced this audible voice when Jesus met him on the road to Damascus. (Acts 9:1-13), Matthew 3:17

Inner voice: - John 10:4, 14
