Don’t be Deceive! Not Everyone That Sounds Humble, Spiritual Is Of God
"And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works." - 2 Corinthians 11:14-15.
"And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen." - Matthew 28:18-20.
God has conferred authority and power in the name of His only begotten Son Jesus Christ. The same power and authority Jesus conferred upon His Church and upon as many that believe in HIM. The Bible says: "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." - John 1:12-13
"Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ." - Galatians 3:16. "Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts." - James 4:3.
God has blessed us with the "Seed" of Abraham which is more than gold and this is the key to ask right from God. (Galatians 3:16) The world has chosen not to believe God and looks for alternatives to fill their emptiness with something else thus trying to put God in a position of a ceremonial King.
The Lord's Prayer opens with a reverent address which says: "Our Father which art in heaven" - Matthew 6:9.
This indicates a relationship between the one who prays and the One to whom prayer is directed. It is like a father-child relationship, which is one of the factors that enhance prayer. The bible says "As many as received him (Jesus) to them gave he power to become the sons of God." - John 1:12.
Whenever a house is to be built, plans are made to ensure that by the time it is finished the structure is strong enough to withstand all kinds of weather conditions so that the owner will be able to enjoy the benefit of owning it.
The building of any house is costly and painstaking. So, it will be foolish of anybody to start building a house without ensuring a good foundation that can hold it against any adverse weather condition.
"For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself." - Roman 13:9
Whenever religion is being discussed or more specifically, Christianity, many people think of keeping the commandments of God. Whatever the commandment of God is, it involves the way we relate to our neighbors in thought, word or action.
